THE SLIM LINE IS A VIABLE ALTERNATIVE TO EXPENSIVE SEMI FLUSH. THE OUTER DIAMETER IS SMALLER THAN API SPECIAL CLEARANCE COUPLINGS.

HIGH TORQUE - REPLACES THE NEED FOR HIGH TORQUE SEMI FLUSH

The INTERLOCK® uses flank locking dovetail threads to counteract high torque loads. It is an ideal cost effective replacement for semi flush. It can be threaded without special swaging equipment. It is immune to the heat treat and stress relief problems of semi flush.

  • OVER-TORQUE: The INTERLOCK® COUPLED features better over-torque characteristics which keeps the coupling intact and provides a better chance of drift-ability past yield.
  • LOW HOOP STRESS: Knowing that hoop stress in a slightly salty, acidic, or sour environment is detrimental, due to its low hoop stress, an INTERLOCK® will remain intact.
  • DURABLE SEALING: The dovetail thread handles higher bending loads and structural comprehensive loads while maintaining its seal.
  • DEEP STAB AND FAST MAKEUP:  Fewer threads per inch and a steeper taper allow the INTERLOCK to make up quickly and stab deeply. The threads are flat crested which reduces cross threading and binding on makeup by 75%.

This specialty semi premium connection was engineered specifically for horizontal shale service. The INTERLOCK® COUPLED SLIM LINE connection was designed to withstand higher torques, severe bends and higher frac pressures.
